Just curious if anyone else heard when they talked to Pearl. I thought it was interesting when he talked about Woolridge. From what I understood, he had a wrist injury preventing him from playing in the opener against Peay and he believes he might be back to play against UNC-A. He also talked about Woolridge backing up the 4 spot. From what I've heard, I thought Woolridge was pretty much in the doghouse. He also talked about Tyler Smith tweaking his ankle a bit. Something else that was interesting was after Pearl hung up, David Oku talked about trying to walk on to the basketball team and was going to ask Pearl? I'm not sure how serious his comments were but he went in to detail explaining how he use to play basketball and would like to try after football season was over. 5'10 - 186. He obviously has a ton of speed so I wonder what he can do on the hardwood.

I heard that, amidst a lot of redneck callers who have an IQ you can calculate on one hand, what an embarrassment to our fan base. Note to Bob Kesling, Screen the damn callers, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

did anyone hear Kiff say that he thanked Coach O for getting McCluster into Ole Miss by way off internet classes? Pat Ryan came out with a big OOOOOH after the statement. I'm a Kiffin fan but that was out of line considering recent events.

Get that man some Kenny Rogers!

"You got to know when to hold'em, know when to fold'em, know when to walk away...and know when to run"

you know....you dont have to qualify your criticism of Kiffin with the ubiquitous "I'm a fan of..." or "You wont find a bigger supporter of..." and so on and so forth. Just say what you mean and hop off the soapbox so someone else can use it. thanx.

I know this going to sound weird, but I have never listened to VOL calls. The reason being I live in Cleveland Tn. On average are the calls mostly from mentally challenged rednecks, or every once in while someone will call in with a legitimate question? I'll hang up and listen.

The same people that are interviewed on TV explaining about the Ternadee  are the ones that call into Vol Calls. It's like Hee Haw on crack. Funny....embarrassing as hell, but funny none the less.

He said on his show Sunday that him and Coach O was joking on the head-sets during the game about Coach O recruiting most of the players for Ole Miss. He said, "remember when we talked and I congradulated you on a great class, I take that back now". Its funny and Coach O knows that, chill out.

Are most callers to dumb to be embarrassed? So they just keep calling?
