On fridays they get this guy to come an an talk sports. His name is "lou holtz" its not really him but he talks and makes fun of what happened in the last week of sports. He said the tennessee musketeers an coach d. Dooley win leprechaun of the week award. "Derek dooley decided to stack 13 men in the box thinking it was to his advantage"also said which made him out think the smartest coach in football (les miles)being sarcastic. I can't remember what all was exactly said about us. but besides the part about us the guy was pretty hilarious

you got to admit it's pretty funny, you got to be able to laugh at yourself and learn from your mistakes.

Love Rick and Bubba. If they weren't from Alabama, they'd be Volunteers!!!

They are "Gooduns"

Rick's dad was the longtime coach at Jacksonville State. They named the field after his dad the week after they farked up Houston Nutt's season.

They're huge football fans. Both of them played some college ball (IIRC, one at Jackonville St, the other at Troy) but talking college sports is only a small part of their show.

Rick's oldest son got some IAA/DII offers but decided to be an invited walk on at Auburn before last season. He's actually getting some playing time this year. I think they both leaned Alabama, but having a kid on the field will somewhat alter your allegiances.

I think the kid doing Holtz is one of their interns. Whomever he is, he has it NAILED.

I'm a casual listener. 'Lou Holtz' is actually a guy from the show. Don't remember if he's the one they call 'Speedy' or a different one. Younger guy, I'm pretty sure.

They were predicting a bunch of games and do on Fridays lately. Keep up with who's predicting the best, etc.

I heard most of it this morning and it's some funny stuff. I've grown to like 'Lou Holtz'. Missed it last week and was disappointed that I did.

Correct above, these guys aren't UT fans and never pretended to be. Not down on UT in general, though, that I can tell.

How do you know it's not really him?

I listened to them a bit way back when they were on 104.5 The Arrow in Nashville. I didn't really care for them much I found them to be way too redneck for me. They were like a worse version of John Boy and Billy. Which is funny because then they seemed to spend a good amount of time bashing JB&B. I took it as jealously. Of course I listened to JB&B then and now I don't.

I'd rather wear the colors of another SEC school in Neyland Stadium than listen to Rick and Bubba
