I think Kines is mediocre at best. What made him look good was having the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year (Demeco Ryans) and the guy that came in second place in the voting for DROY (Mark Anderson) starting for 3 plus seasons. Not to mention 4 other players that made NFL rosters this year (Roman Harper, Charlie Peprah, Freddie Roach, and Anthony Madison). Without them Mississippi State ran all over us this year. Ouch!

Do u not remember watchin him @ Ga??? Even Rut's offense put up big #'s against him.

I didn't say he was the worst, I said most overrated. Fulmer, media and other coaches I've heard give him alot of credit. He had very very good talent at Bama, which does make a coach look better.

I'm not defending the guy I'm just saying he's not awful. Well I guess I'm defending him in some respects but the guy is not an awful DC.
