the team bus will be at BofA Stadium Saturday? Would like to show our appreciation for all the hard work to our coach and our boys before we take it to WVU?

Any info would be appreciated?
Thanks

Aren't they going to fly to Charlotte?

When I used to travel a lot, the break-even distance was about a 5-hour drive. Anything shorter than that, and it was faster (door-to-door) to drive than fly.

For folks who take charter flights, you can drop an hour or so off that.

Still, Charlotte is less than 4 hours from Knoxville. My guess is, they'll be taking the buses. Just quicker.

I don't have any idea on the time, but the buses enter off of Graham Street directly to the left of the "M" in "Mint Street Parking Deck" on the picture below.
If the picture were a clock, the little parking lot at approx. 11:55 is the Panthers Players parking lot. So you can usually catch the panthers players walking on that road from that parking lot to the underside of the stadium where the buses would go too.

I remember seeing the caravan of State Troopers and buses going S. on I-75 as we were driving N last year for the opening game in ATL. Quite the spectacle.

The stadium is right downtown (called uptown here) so there's plenty of street level lots. It's much easier to navigate and find parking than it is in Knoxville. So finding parking will be easy, there will be lots starting at $5 and going up to $40-$50. Just depends on how far you want to walk.

For what time to arrive...getting in to BOA stadium is a pretty big cluster because there's only 3 gates if I recall correctly so it backs up pretty bad. I'm planning on getting uptown by 10:30-11:00 so I have plenty of time, and I'll leave my tailgate spot no later than 2:30 because of the crowds that back up at the gates.

You can reserve parking here but these lots won't open until 11:30.

Tennessee Vols Official Big Orange Tailgate - Belk College Kickoff Tickets - Cedar Hill - 624 South Cedar Street - CHARLOTTE, NC - Saturday, September 1, 2018 — 11:30 am

There is also a lot at 700 McNinch St which will open at 8:00 AM and is $30 cash.

All these are close to the Tennessee Tailgate area and a few blocks from the stadium.
