Anyone Get an APPLICATION???

Just read this online tonight and I'm WAY confused as I am a season ticket holder since 1981.

"Either way, tickets are already available regardless of the bowl for pre-purchase from UTtix.com and letters were sent to season-ticket holders over the last couple weeks to reserve their seats, and brisk sales, regardless of destination, can play a determining role."

I've called 3 people that have also been LONG TIME season ticket holders...and they did not get an Application either. We're all calling the UT Ticket office in the morning.

So, HAS ANYONE HERE RECEIVED THEIR TICKET APPLICATION YET????

I got an email with an account # and pin #. It let me go onto uttix.com and fill out my application for bowl tickets

How long have you been a season ticket holder? If you've held them long enough that you weren't forced to donate to the VASF to get season tickets - doubt you'll get the option. Just a guess though.

I've had season tickets since 1981. Don't give to the VASF but have ALWAYS received an application in the past when we went bowling. The Tennessean.com stated the application went to all season ticket holders...it did not mention just to VASF.

got my email sometime ago... just contact VASF they will help you out.... calm down!

I have been a tic holder since 89, and have not received anything through the mail, either...and usually do. I, like you, am currently grandfathered (note the currently). May be the VASF issue as mentioned before. Not sure about email, as tic info is usually sent to my wife's email account...and I haven't checked to see if anything was sent.

But, I still have a really bad taste in my mouth with the CFA bowl, as we got our tix through UT for the UT/Maryland debacle, and we all know how that turned out!

I am a grandfathered season ticket holder and got the email about 3 weeks ago. Nothing in the snail mail this year like in years past. This must be the first year they did it all by e mail. Just go to the ticket website and enter your account and password and you can order tickets.

if you have an account number and pin bc you donate to the VASF are you GUARANTEED tickets if UT goes to the bowl you requested?

I went on the uttix.com web-site and clicked on "Bowl Application". Even though the next page says "SEASON RENEWALS" (someone at UT needs to change that)....go ahead and put in your Account Number...and Password. The NEXT page you see does say "BOWL APPLICATION". (I've been checking this website for the last couple of weeks....and I was thrown off course by the "SEASON RENEWALS" statement. In my mind (wrongly I now see) I didn't think they were ready to take BOWL APPLICATIONS.

When you do click on the link for the 2009-10 Bowl Application, up comes all the possible bowls the SEC has tie-ins for. The PRIORITY DEADLINE is December 6...so at least I didn't miss that.

Hope this helps someone else. And "parkvol"...thanks so much for your words of encouragement.

Not a problem... just saying they are usually overwhelming nice when a season ticket holder calls in...:good!:

got mine in early November.

You can go online and order for bowls anytime. Be sure to order for all bowls you would be interested in going to. you can only order one time with your priority so if you order for CFA bowl and UT ends up in MCB, you will not be able to go back and order with the same priority.
