It's about 15 min after the game and I'm waiting for a Sportscenter Update saying that the officials have decided to review the review and overturn the overturn. I still have LSU/NC paranoia from last year I guess. :)

I definitely am lol. With the way the last couple of years have gone, it's about time we got something like this

You're not the only one... That was the poorest coached and ugliest game I have seen in a while. Oh well, at least we won for now anyways. :ermm:

yes the whistle did blow you can hear it plain as day the refs blew the call, i take the win any way we can get it, we deserve it after the way we have lost games since dooley has got here.

i am just thankful that we beat them, do not know if i could stand all there fans and hear franklin run his mouth.

If that had happened to us instead of Vandy, it would be business as usual, not nearly as bad as LSU or UNC.

The ref walked up, marked the ball, waved his arm in the air, and blew the hell out of his whistle. Then the refs realized how badly they screwed up, and they said ah... it's just Vandy and pretended there was no whistle. There is no way anything like that happens to Florida.

They realized that screwed it up and basically skirted the rules - because if they blow t he whistle there - we can only challenge that it was a TO (which it was obviously) but cannot advance the ball. Same shiz happened in the USC/Oregon game except it was a fumble but USC wasn't allowed to get the TD after the whistle was blown.

Justice, in my opinion. Whistle shouldn't have been blown. Way UTs luck has gone, they were due for a break.

I'm not going to listen to complaints about this. It was a BS call to begin with to call him down. There was no one there to tackle him once the whistle started blowing. It changed nothing. It would be tragic if that got called back because a ref made a stupid call that he wanted to take back immediately. So, he took it back by saying he didn't blow his whistle.

justice ended up being served because the td should have stood because the knee did not come close to touching.

however, whoever told the head referee that he did not blow his whistle is a liar of the highest order and should be fired and never work another game again.

I was also yelling "not again!" And I have to say I definitely heard a whistle. But to hell with it, He wasn't down and we deserve some positive karma for once.
