I did for the Duke game. Can't stand Dickie Duke V.
Thought Dykes was okay. He was pretty much spot on in what we had to do in the second half. Perimeter D and play your own game and we ended up beating them 34 to 12 in the paint.
After the games with Bless His Heart Vince Y, this coverage was stellar.

It was pretty funny when UF was making all the 3s in the first half you would have thought they were up 20 by the announcers comments. Then in the 2nd half they were not making any but the announcers pointed out they were still playing tough and hanging around. Maybe it is just my bias though.

Jimmy Dykes has always been a little over the top with superlatives imo. So-and-so is THE best at this or that in all the land.

He does like us as a natty contender though - no problem with that pump. And he came unglued on that late game call on Grant, the phantom illegal screen - "THAT was no foul!" heh

Jimmy Dykes can be annoying, but he has talked up the Vols on every game he has called this year - Vol game or not. He definitely loves him some PB&J...

Looks like you're right for at least one person here.

Having said that, she is terrible. My problem with her is the way she talks. She purposedly exaggerates her voice, like a bad radio DJ; it's a practice known by some as "puking". I've heard her talk normally and if she'd just talk that way, she'd be about 95% better automatically.

HOWEVER I had rather listen to her as Dickie boy.. Hell, I had rather listen to a mule fart than listen to him. Usually turn off a ESPN broadcast and watch a Podunk St. inter squad game. Knowing full well the ACC conference game would be worth while.

Did anyone besides me notice how quiet (at least Mowins) got in the last minute as we ran off the 2-3 basket run? Didn't notice the excitement at the end she had talking about Fla's first half 3's the whole second half and when they would start hitting them again and take down a no. 3 making it two wins over top 10's this last week.....

Agreed, Jimmy is pro UT but talks too much. That spiel he went on about the weird play thay Northern Ky ran the night before while ignoring the action on the court drove me up the wall. Beth Mowins is awful. The real travesty was on the Duke/FSU game where that blabbering dunderhead, Dickie V was on. I sent ESPN another email yesterday telling them to put him out to pasture. I've done that before and for some reason they ignore me, lol. He makes me want to turn to drugs or shoot the TV.

There should be an announcer rule that you can't talk about other teams/games during play. There was nothing boring about this game.
