I fail to see where this would be insulting to us. It's certainly not insulting to me. If anything I would think that would show any undecided recruits that no matter how big and bad the gators think they are, the are still concerned with us no matter how good we are. To me that's like giving attention to a bratty little kid that only wants attention. I would think it would be a better image for them to beat us and go into the next week just like we were some d2 school.

i heard that with josh ward yesterday. Funny thing is I remember a few years ago when Florida state was beating the gators pretty bad their band played Rocky Top. That was awesome! Thats alright when they come up here next year I say lets playUrban Cheated and still didnt get NUKE!

Two years ago after UGA had beaten Tech and we had beaten Kentucky to go to the SEC championship game one of the frat houses kept playing Rocky Top exteemely loud over and over as all the UGA fans left. Good Stuff...

Eighth-grade schoolgirls get far less pissy about far worse personal insults than this. It's kind of pathetic how sensitive they are.

Spurrier trashed UT every chance he got; the whole fanbase made Phil jokes for 15 years....and suddenly they're on a holy revenge crusade because our new coach aimed a couple of remarks at them. Boo freaking hoo.

I think it would be great to have Fl. Playing Rocky Top, on national T.V.. Maybe we could get Al. And Ga. To do the same thing.

Whenever our band plays rocky top. The UF fans usually sing along. But with these lyrics.

♯♭Rocky flop, you'll always be, last in the SEC ♯♭

I always want to punch them, when they sing that.

They do this almost every year. Nothing new.

I hope they do play or sing Rocky Top. I think it would be flattering to have opposing fan bases acknowledging our traditions. By the way I don't even know the name of Florida's fight song and I would beat 98% of the rest of the college football fans don't either.
