I’d say you’re right about that.
If true, if he’s been vaccinated he could still play with a negative test. If unvaccinated, to be held out at least 10 days. Believe that’s what they said, anyw.
Those are SEC rules. The problem is Knox County Health Department has placed MUCH STRICTER quarantine protocols than SEC or NCAA. It was a definite problem and issue at Tenn last year as other schools got players back, (and Coaches, Saban) after 2 negative tests but UT had to wait full 10 days, even if you tested negative after being exposed.
Not a level field if that policy by KCHD hasnt changed.
UGA has a potentially bad situation. Without getting too specific - they've got a couple of positives that had ultra high access to the building and were in contact with a ton of players.Apparently GA is dealing with a covid outbreak now to. As a poster above said, this may be more common than we would like. Will definitely hurt some but others have to step up.
What's the source? There's been zero public announcement on this that I've been able to find other than people saying 'so and so heard/said it". Let's pump the brakes on the rumor's until we get verified info. I hope it's not true obviously. I have enough unnecessary stress in my life already lol
