Anyone else have Battered Vol Syndrome as bad as me?

I was on the phone with somebody who couldn't see the game at the time. I may or may not have said "you know what's getting ready to happen."
lol
After a while, everyone gets like that. It's normal....will take a while before we expect to pull out victories. Good one today for sure.
It's not so much pulling out victories, it's the finding a way to lose that's gotten to me, if that makes sense.
Don't feel bad. I had the same thought
Glad I'm not alone. lol.

I was on edge the whole time.

Also, I was angry that Auburn's last TD wasn't called back. Am I crazy or was that not a reception? He never had possession. He bobbled the ball and then our guy intercepted it. Somehow, I'm the only one who saw this?

I think this win is so big for so many reasons. Recruiting for one. Two, Pruitt has now earned more buy in from this team. Some of those older guys who might not have fully bought in, should now be firmly planted in their seats and ready for the fun ride ahead.

Big win. Huge.

Lol wining cures all... even lets volfannbama say positive things.
Yep and I dont buy all the auburn is struggling. They may be, but they are still a team stacked with talent. In the last 5 years we lose that game. Today at around the 2nd quarter it seemed we controlled much of the game, even when it.was close.

There is a pathway to 6-6 and a bowl game now. This team has a lot to play for. Today really changes the outlook on the rest of the season. It's hard to overstate how big this win is.

I have this battery-operated, head-in-the sand dog with more than a passing resemblance to Smoky, who barks and kicks his leg when you whoop or stomp the floor. Had him turned off until we got the onside kick.

He's been barking and kicking ever since.
Pic or it didn’t happen.

It gives us hope, where there previously was very little. Like Pruitt said, we still made a lot of silly mistakes, but we played well enough to win. I think the staff had these guys well prepared from a scheme standpoint.

It really sucks that we've all been through so much. I'm happy for our guys who work hard and haven't seen much success. Feels good. Feels really good.
Yeah, what a turning point. We may hit a bowl this year, building off this.

Yup, Pruitt has got these kids believing they're good enough and that's going to pay off the rest of the season. Hell Freak, outside of Bama I like our chances against everyone else of the schedule

I think if we win the turnover battle we're capable of being in all of those games, except Bama.

Freak can you imagine how many elite recruits are are turning their head our way now. They can see we're on the rise and I can bet you we're going to reel in some big fish by signing day. This win was HUGE for our program.

I had already accepted that Auburn was going to recover the onside kick and score a touchdown to win it. I was thinking about what a dagger it would be, to snatch defeat, again, from the jaws of victory.

I'm ashamed, but we've just seen so many bad things happen to our beloved Vols.

But it was different today. First win over a western division team since 2010.

I though it was nice that the camera panned to Fulmer as time expired. Happy for him. Happy for Pruitt. And I'm thrilled for our fans, me most of all. :)

Go Vols!
These were my exact thought as well. Proud of these guys today.

I sat here reliving every game ending that's gone wrong over the past few years. Fla last year, the LSU debacle, the UNC debacle. I couldn't believe it when we were able to line up in victory formation!

I spent the last ten or so minutes of the game glued to the bar at the great wolf lodge watching and downing overpriced beer after overpriced beer while the kids ran feral. I think we all forgot how good it feels to have an sec win. I know I did. Just gonna enjoy this feeling for a bit.
