I just got back from a party where a few of the fired "coaches" were present. It was kind of funny how they burned their play books and UT apparel...but what they had to say was truly the interesting part of the night.
They insisted that CLK was determined to get rid of EVERYONE, so he could bring in his own staff that would help him find "loop-holes" in the recruiting rules. They said that CLK wasn't confident that the UT veterans would totally be on-board with his philosophies on playing by the rules.
I do realize that they were a little bitter and pissed about losing their jobs, but I do have to at least wonder if their theories hold any water. They wouldn't go into detail, but they promised that Tennessee would be in trouble with the NCAA within three years.
Thoughts??
