Anyone else despise Bama as much as me

I grew up in Alabama..have lived here my whole life..
HUGE UT Fan
hate bama..and saban, and all that.

so tired of hearing his whole life story every day here...
hope that 4 mil bites them in the ass..

I don't hate Alabama as much as I hate their dilusional fan base and their new head coach.

I cannot imagine anyone hating them more than I do.
I thought my hate my cool down after we started dominating them. But nope, it hasn't

I dislike Florida because they are always in the way in the SEC East more than anything (and their annoying band-wagon fans, I kid you not the Gators win something big and the blue tebow jerseys come out around here like weeds after a good rain)

I dislike Georgia for the same reasons albeit to a lesser degree since I dont live amongst Ga. fans

I'm not terribly fond of Vandy either as they are starting to become more of an in state rival than their traditional role of doormat the last couple of years

But I loathe Bama even though they aren't in the East or in state, hell I've set foot in Alabama 2 times in my life but until I came face to face with their fans (the mindset in general since I dont hate decent individuals),
I never knew how much I could despise another school.

The mythology of the Bear and their 20 national titles, their redundant fans, houndstooth patterns all over the place, that shade of crimson that looks like really old rust or cheap hooker make-up, ugh no redeeming factors there

In fact I thought I could not hate them anymore than I do until they hired the Prince of Lies to coach the squad

I know someone that hates Alabama more than anyone ever has.
He cheered and laughed when Prothro broke his leg.

With Bama almost on even footing, the best that rivals can hope for is 50/50 split on the games played. Is that what provokes this irrational hatred?

I hate UF because beating them is the way to win the SEC east.

I hate bama because beating them is just the right thing to do.

ANd like someone else posted, it isnt the program as much as the idiots who support it.

I despise Alabama! As I've posted before, everytime I fly out of Atlanta heading west I give it about twenty minutes and then use the facilities.

XXL, Im kinda new here and I do know there are some rational bama fans out there somewhere. You may be one of them...I really dont know.

But your bama bretheren have painted an ugly picture of the bama nation, based on the Memphis fiasco. Deep down in my heart, i know there are some and I wanna meet the few remaining intelligent bama fans.

Hating bama is a tradition that extends well before Logan Young or Mike Duboise. Its a right of passage to us old timers. But when the turn of the millenium rolled around, hating bama took on a whole new form. It became personal.

If VOL fans discuss thier hatred for bama on a VOL site...what do you expect?

For me hating bammer is like breathing. It takes minimal effort and something I cannot do without.

Don't waste your energy hating Bama...it will only hurt you...just focus on being a great VOL Fan and everything else will take care of itself. AL does have the most obnoxious fans of any school so they bring out the worst in other fans...sometimes you just have to sit back and laugh at their delusions. I always pull for any SEC team when they are playing out of conference schools but AL fans hate everyone so they want every SEC team to lose so that it will make them look better.

Hating bama is what makes us great VOL fans...but as I said earlier, its a right of passage. It has nothing to do with what happened in Memphis...but it did elevate it to a whole new level.

I have quite a few bama grads in the family and they are rational and intelligent. However, they are getting to be the exception rather than the rule.

Hate Bama? nah..beating em' 7 or was it 8 times in a row?and 90% of the time thereafter tempered that...I've dealt with the hate, now Florida? don't get me started....:)

Hating Bama is an afterthought because we beat them every year. I used to hate them because they cheat so much with players bought in TN. I hate FL more now.

I have despised Bammar since I started following the Vols in 1952 and the hate has just increased every year since.
