Anyone catch the ESPN piece on UT?

We show up early to the arena and have to play with a jacket as the basketball.

Pearl cracks a joke about a "Jewish Dilemma"---Free Bacon at breakfast, that is one of the funniest things I have heard in a while.

Taped off the carpet at the hotel and ran plays.

It is obvious this team is very tight.

Tony Jones showing the camera guy how they had outlined the play that produced Lofton's last shot was absolutely incredible. I'm not kidding you guys, THAT WAS NOT LUCK!!!!!!!!! IT WAS PLANNED.

Very, very impressed with this team.

I believe it.

It looked like the first option was a lob to the rim, but clearly Lofton was cutting to the corner. Lost in the greatness of the shot is what a good inbounds pass that was. That was a very tough angle to hit Lofton in stride and on the move.

Didn't see that.However, did listen to the post game radio show with coach Pearl and he signed off "Go Vols".Plus I noticed he was the only coach on the new Sports Illustrated along with D. Vitale and about 100 boy and girl basketball players.

I hope they're running it on SC in the morning... I like the idea of the entire country following the Vols b/c Coach Pearl said 'yes'.

They showed it this morning. I've seen 3 of the "all access Tennessee" clips this week on SportsCenter. Pretty cool stuff having them follow us around.

And the free bacon dilema crack by Pearl was pretty funny.

Dane Bradshaw said this in the post-game conference, as well. He also said that he thought about taking the shot before the time out, but "for some reason coach thought Chris should take it." He is a well-spoken, funny, likeable guy, too.

What I saw, they said Winthrop had 4-5 days to prepare for UT's style of BB, where now teams will only have 1 day. Also UT started losing games at the end of the sec season, when teams where beginning to make adjustments to Pearl's style of play. In the tournament there is little time to do this.

you know what's funny about the spot on ESPN? i'm listening to the sports show here in CLT and UNC fans are calling in talking about being so "tired" of hearing and seeing so much about TN.....talking about how they're sick of ESPN force feeding them pub on TN.

it made me laugh. UNC fans talking about another coach o/t than Roy Williams, getting too much pub. it makes me laugh. :biggrin2:
