You remember how much a struggle the app st and Ohio games were? Well add in all our injuries plus better competition then those two teams. Wouldn't be surprised if we lost one or two.

The week off helps. None of the teams remaining on the schedule pose a major threat. Of course we still have to play the games and anything could happen, but I feel pretty confident we'll win out.

Step off the ledge. 8 hours ago you would've said the exact opposite. We got ran by the #1 team in the nation. Stings, but oh well. It's going to be ok.

Good Freaking grief. Seems like this crap happens every year. Lose to Bama, UF or UGA, regardless of the circumstances and we will be lucky to beat USc, UK, Vandy and Mizzou.

Some fans cannot have any faith in a Tennessee team.

The way injuries are mounting I'm not so sure it's going to be OK. We are a walking MASH unit right now. A week may help some but we're not getting many of those players back any time soon if at all.

Stop it. South Carolina, mizzou, vandy, Kentucky.

Totally legitimate concern. We can be beat by anybody because you have no idea what team will show up. The first half of the season made that very obvious. Add in the dozen injuries and we are facing some more nail biters. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Butch trip up and flop a game.

And we have been behind by double digits in every single game except Ohio and except for Bama and A&M, every other team was not very good.

With our lack of defense and Debord's stubborness to go lateral all the damn time, it is possible we could lose. We should win all 5 games but I expect with the way we play there will be some games that go into the 4th quarter.

We have 5 games left against USc, MTS, Kentucky, Missouri and Vandy. Now lets say every one of those games go down to the last play in the 4th quarter. And we only beat each team by 1 point and still win the East. Will those games that went into the 4th quarter matter?

Did I say we would lose? I was responding to the pumpers that seem to think we are just going to cakewalk thru with no problem at all.

Kentucky gave Bama a better game than we did. Let that sink in. Bammer fans were saying they were more impressed with Kent St than us.

When we have so many injuries that we're burning red shirts and playing true freshmen just to put a team on the field then anything could happen.

I still believe in our Vols to WIN the SEC East.

VFL...GBO!!!

I don't know how anyone could be very confident after watching the slop we've seen in the early part of this year.. This team could very easily be 4-3 right now and everyone is expecting a cake walk down the stretch, yeah right..

I could see them dropping another.. Maybe in Columbia. Vandy is all of a sudden looking like they may also give us a game. Year isn't over.. The injuries are going to make it tough.

Watch out for USC!!!! We are coming off an off week, BUT hey always play us close watch, remember last year we were suppose to steam roll them and run for 278 yards and only ran for like 117 and a miracle play to escape???

I wouldn't be surprised if we won out. 10-2 bro. Depends on what Florida does whether we get to Atlanta or not. 11 wins with the bowl game. Try it again next year. Could be worse. The Texas A & M cost us big time. Potentially ruined our season losing to the Aggies.

We'd beat USC just like Alabama did. By a nice margin.

But it's clear that some folks are disappointed about the two & two split of the four game gauntlet and now wish to forecast doom & gloom for the easy part of our schedule. It figures, and I expected as much. Makes them feel better, apparently.

I thought before the shalacking yesterday and still think today that Vandy and Mizzou are going to be tough games. We need our starters to get healthy.
