I for one believe Mike Keiths return to Rockytop is a blessing! Must admit I will miss Berts heart, enthusiasm, and "MONEY"..........

Most people seem to like his work.

Do you listen to the show?

I watched his show the other day and he had Guarantano on with him. JG handled himself very well, seems to have a good perspective on things. I think JG wasn’t really set up for success here considering the four OCs he had in four years and the instability of the program. Mike Keith does have some good guests on. I like watching it.

Does anyone watch/listen to this regularly? I noticed there was some good guests, including Joey A on this week.

I watched the show for the first so many sessions, up until a segment where he and another show host did a lot of really obvious PR speak around the new talent fees, the rising cost of attending games, etc. After that, I sort of stopped watching unless it was a special guest. It was something about the way Keith and the cohost were dismissing the topic with smiles on their faces. Laughter and "that's how it is" and "this is all for the better," with no thoughtfulness. No real examination of the topic. A lot of very obvious company line takes, and I don't know ... their personalities felt fake after that. Or maybe not fake, but also, not genuine? Too obvious, too on the nose. For some reason, ever since then, I can't shake that feeling that I'm just seeing extensions of the same mentality that's changing everything I liked about college sports.

Anyway. Four dollars a pound.

Also, just to be clear, I don't think anyone should or shouldn't watch the show because of how I feel. I think it's a great idea and I feel like people would enjoy it if it became a regular and reliable thing they produced. I was the one posting links to the early test runs of the show they did last spring, because I enjoyed the idea so much. I think it's great to give a platform to highlight all the people who've competed on behalf of the school over the years.

I still have not been able to appreciate Keith’s call of ballgames or his shows. He just seems artifi with his calls. Unfortunately, I still compare all broadcasters to Ward and I have not heard anyone who comes close. Ward was able to create excitement without have to scream and yell. Keith, not so much.

His shows are immensely better than the Austin guy who does interviews that are awkward because he asks odd questions and kinda acts a little holier than tho at times imho

I watch him on YouTube about 3 times a week and then listen to him on the radio instead of the tv. Mike and Ramon have made this season much more enjoyable for me.
