Why don't they affix this to the outside of the new brick or something? This is way too historical and traditional to just auction off.

It could be done in a really cool way. Maybe even at gate 21 or something. Who currently owns them?

The things are huge. 10' x 12'

Anyway, they SHOULD be put back up where they belong and lose the Food City/Prilosec jumbotron.

Question, I know they were on the SouthEast corner, where the Jumbotron now resides...was there ever any discussion as to moving them to the opposite corner, or another part of the stadium...I know prevailing winds and all that jazz would play a part, but come on, we have one of the finest Architectural and Engineering schools in the South East, if not the country...

Wow, when I first saw this thread I thought they would go for 20k or so. Just clicked on the link and saw the opening bid is only 3k. I think I'll have to make a bid on these.

if i owned a club or something i would buy them but what the hell are you going to do with these things in your house. now if you were a millionaire with an awesome man cave.....that would be sweet

Don't even need to be a millionaire, LOL... At that price you could be a thousandaire...

If the bidding stays that low, I will bid on them. I'd pay $7,500 for them. I'll mount the V on the wall in my game room, and stick the rest in storage.

There actually were White ones previous to these ,that have disappeared.They were originally installed in the late 50's ish.
