anybody use PS3 to stream the game

I tried to stream it using the PS3..
I was able to get online and to the ESPN3 site, but it wouldn't load

I'm pretty sure you'll need to be a on participating cable provider and have additional software running on a computer. PlayOn would probably be your best solution if have the requirements met.

Don't think it will stream on ps3. I tried it last year & it wouldn't work & I have a compatible ISP provider.

I could run it on my laptop, and I have a participating cable provider Comcast...
Could you explain "PlayOn"

I've never used it myself, just read/seen about it. As such, they can probably explain it better. It's pay software, but there's a 14 day trial to evaluate it. It's basically software that streams it between your computer and the PS3.

How are those tv's by the way? We have thought about buying another tv for the basement and thought it was a pretty cool idea with the internet capable tv.

i did through ps3 and justin tv. thats how i did all or most of the games last year.

I was able to get to the internet through the PS3, but ESPN3 wasn't loading

I use the Justin TV feed on the PS3. The best feed is the one over in the football thread from a guy named jeepjeep. Awesome feed and looked great last week when I had to use it.
