13 - 7 Wyoming......:eek:lol:
This has just got to be as bad as it gets. Hey Briscoe really looks like you turned your frustration into good energy on the field. This bunch has got to be the worse team TN has ever put on the field. But anyways, way to go players you really make it seem like you love your coach with that beautiful performance Saturday. :good!:

These players are bad whether they liked the coach or not. Wanting too win for phil wasn't going to change that.

I'd be hard pressed to point out any positives in that performance. Seriously.

And do you believe that's a lack of talent or a lack of good coaching?

You can't tell me we have a less talented team than Wyoming & UCLA.

What respect I had left for him turned into bitterness and looking forward to next year when I saw the Wyoming game. That being said, our players stink this year with the exception of one or two guys. We need a coaching staff that can do something with talent....also, a QB wouldn't hurt.

I expect us to lose one of the last two games so Fulmer can set the school record for losses in a season. Thanks for the memories Phil, hope the film showed you something.

I'll make the Fulmerites' final argument.

"If we hadn't distracted/upset the players by firing Fulmer last week, we'd be 4-6 right now."

Give me a break.

When we get an A list hire, it won't be long until you guys will feel the same about Richt. I've already heard some serious grumbling from UGA friends that I have.

Yep! The first losing year:furious3: there will be some serious grumblings.

I agree. I don't think it would have mattered whether Hamilton made the decision on Monday or not. We would have still lost to this team imo. They played like they've played all season for the most part.
People can get mad at Hamilton all they want, but I think he did the right thing. If he had waited until the end of the season to make the announcement people would be upset then too because he didn't announce it sooner, and the players would probably be mad because they should have known earlier if he knew he was going to do this when the season was over. It was a no win situation for Hamilton, but I think he did the only thing he could do.

In the movie '' Remember the Titans '' theres a scene between two of the main characters (players) in a discussion about the teams chemistry. The last line in the scene IMO speaks to the problems we see on the Vols roster. ''Attitude reflects leadership, captain''....Have we see better players than we have on the roster now? You bet we have...but still what we have on the roster would be a good solid football team if their attitude was different. IMO what we see suited up this year was a direct product of CPF's coaching style, at least his recent style. In this season and since 05' his approach to running this team is evident in his players approach to preparation and execution we see on the field, I feel thats why CPF is justifiably soon to be replaced.
