He picks UT to get beat UT, but this is funny.

ESPN.com: Page 2 : Counting down the madness

16. Long Beach State (12)

Sorry, had to pick the Beach to win two games. I've been a Long Beach supporter ever since Dre' and Snoop brought Compton and the LBC together in "The Chronic." Which reminds me, how much would you pay for a March Madness sequence where a Long Beach State player dunks on a fast break, followed by Gus Johnson losing his mind for a second and screaming, "Long Beach in the motha****** house!" I think I'd pay $750.

sounds like another good reason to hope Long Beach State loses in the first round...

I have to say that I have never read an article more based on silly observations culled from 45 other people. Garbage. And really not as clever as the "author" seems to think.

saying lofton can hit just enough 3 pointers is like saying shaquille o'neal is a slightly bad free-throw shooter

Mandel at SI is picking Long Beach into the Sweet 16.

Mandel's Bracket

Mandel is primarily a College Football guy though.

Winn, Wahl, and Davis are write much better articles in the realm of college hoops. Winn and Wahl both have UT in the Sweet 16, and Davis thinks that we'll get past OSU to the elite 8 before Texas A&M knocks us off in the regional final. I think we could all live with that outcome.
