seemed to be playing DT pretty well AND was enthusiastic with the team lifting CBJ into the air at the end! Did not look like a malcontent or transfer to me, and you?

I also noticed this. It seems that Kongbo is coming into his own on the squad. Might even become a leader for the defense next year given how emotional he seems on the field. Other players also seem to like/respect him.

Yes. Looked as if he has finally bought in to DT and realizes his football future (including NFL) is at DT.

Yea but seeing him loop outside to get the QB shows the speed that will get him a starting slot at DE...

He looked pretty good. What I noticed most was his attitude and fight. Just a few weeks ago people wanted this guy kicked off the team. Guy played hard, every in tune with his teammates.

But he should be playing DE. With Barnett gone next year it I think it would be better to put Kongbo at end and just put some big dude at DT rather than play Kongbo at DT and have some dude at DE. Hopefully it wont get to that point with injuries next season.

Build on his finish, be the impact player we hoped he would be, and who gives a flip which position it is at.

We gave up 61 yards rushing tonight. Kongbo had a big hand in that. Hats off to Shoop and the staff getting these guys ready over the layoff.
