Anybody know anything about Chattanooga's football team?

You make it sound eerily similar to 1958 when Chattanooga actually beat UT. The only good part was in '58 Tennessee beat a #7 ranked Old Mess team the following week.

I don't think we will see any cop cars in the river Saturday but you never know

their team is terrible---ut should beat them easily

Actually, they have a couple of d linemen that could play for the vols. Davis Tull is on some draft boards and Derrick Lott is a nfl prospect. Our defense will destroy their offense though.

I'm not expecting Chattanooga's police chief to get arrested by the KPD for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest like in '58 either, but I'm sure Chattanooga's fans are hoping for the best.

Theyre alot like UTK. Play good for a few qtrs, then make excuses about how they give up a 10 point lead in the 4th qtr.

Davis Tull will be playing on Sunday next year. Vols will have to contain another mobile QB. Jacob Huesman is not afraid to run the football and take a hit. He was named to the preseason Walter Peyton Award (FCS Heisman) watch list this season. UTC is my alma mater and I've seen the great job that Russ Huesman has done building this program into a top 15 FCS football program. David Blackburn as AD is furthering the push to get this football program to the top of FCS.

I bleed orange & my money went to UTC, but when the chips are down I'll be singing Rocky Top and screaming bloody murder on 3rd Down For What???? on Saturday.

So, it should be close then

Actually it probably wouldn't be a bad bet to take the money line on the mocs. Tennessee is coming off a bad disappointing loss at home and trying to prepare for a trip to Oxford, the mocs are a GOOD FCS team. Place a 20$ bet on the mocs to win and it'll be a huge payout to offset the hard feelings if the vols were to lose(which I don't think they will).

Huesman is a large and very fast QB not a great arm but can run and is hard to bring down. His arm is his weakness not D1 and if he has to use it our secondary should have a few picks and hopefully pick 6's with the way the O was sputtering on Saturday.

They SHOULD have beaten Central Michigan's team on the first game of the year (bUTch's old team). They played very well and have a very good secondary. Like someone has said this is the best UTC team in a LONG LONG time have 2 or 3 pre-season ALL American's and decent OL not many WRs that are a threat, besides Hudson. UT SHOULD beat them just like they did Austin Peay

I bet Worley keeps it a few times just to keep UTC honest. He ain't skeered.

Saw them play Jacksonville State earlier this year and they looked awful. Didn't throw downfield the entire game ... had absolutely no offensive rhythm. I'd be very surprised if they score a touchdown.

The Mocs have scored 42, 38, and 55 points in their last 3 games. It looks like the offense has gotten on track.

Easy win but they aren't THAT bad. They've handled equal competition pretty handily this season. We need to come back this week and hang like 50 on them, a good solid and motivating win but if we play like we did against Florida we will win like 21-10 with two of those touchdowns coming from Sutton and Kelly JR.

I'm a student at UTC and Mocs fan. . . Our offense has been steady the past 3 or 4 games. We struggled against CMU and J-Ville State late. However, our defense is stellar. We will get to the QB a few times tomorrow.

Tennessee's offense should score enough to win by 2-3 TD's, but do not expect a 70-0 shut out win tomorrow. Best of luck!

Go Mocs!

PS: I'm in section A, row 2. If anyone else is going, what section are you sitting in?!

I believe TN will win but it may be closer than some believe.
BTW: My father-in-law is looking forward to this weekend. He played on the 58' UC team that beat the Vols!! He is definitely a "Negavol" LOL!!!!! Should be an interesting weekend.
