Anybody heard anything about Bray having shoulder issues?

he hurt it on a hit Saturday night but returned the next series. didn't even miss any plays. would not be surprised if it has tightened up some since then but he should be fine since they have not even listed him on injury report.

This. I don't know how this turned into a "we should have Cobb thread".

I saw them working with him on the sidelines Sat. night and was concerned. He seemed ok after that.

We really should have gotten Cobb him living so close in Alcoa, but we really can't change that now, obviously. Heck, I played against him during pee wee and midget football. Hopefully he makes it to the league, for East Tennessee and so I can say I tackled a pro athlete:dance2:

But, as we all know, the dude is the real deal. He's the only reason Kentucky has a legit chance of pulling it off.

But he was just a three star!!!! How were we supposed to know that he would be good?

Doubt he would have had the same stats at UT. A big reason he puts up big numbers for UK is because he's their only real big play threat.

And I don't think either Clawson or Kiffin would have used him at QB, WR and TB.

He would have been a WR or TB and a PR.

Cobb's been great for UK and he would have been a good player for Tennessee but compare him to Moore or Jones at WR or Hardesty, Foster or Poole at TB. That's who Cobb would have had to beat out for playing time at Tennessee.

He wouldn't have gotten a whole lot of touches at Tennessee unless he was the primary PR guy (which he probably would have been) until this season.

IF Bray starts and is really NOT injured and NOT gun shy due to his 2 interceptions at Vandy and comes out and plays with the same attitude he's had in the last few games...the Vols WILL win this game.

Mark it down....next. :crossfingers: :naughty:

I'm concerned about the trend and would like to see the trend reversed this game.

Carolina, came in and looked good.

Memphis, looked like a senior.

Ole Miss, not near as good as Memphis. Had several misses on throws but no turnovers..

Vanderbilt, again had several misses on throws but also a couple Ints.

he needs to reverse things this game and get back on track..

Yep, we should have had Cobb. He wanted to come and he was definitely worth it. DK why Phil didn't see it. But I hope the Neyland jinx doublewhammies him this week. He'll have lots of other good weeks at the next level. Hopefully, just not this one.

Ya know I'm just over hearing about how we blew it by not offering Cobb early enough. probably as much as Ky was tired of hearing about Chris Lofton.

Cobb would have came hear if Phil would have lied and told him " you'll be a QB" like the Kats did. Good luck to him at the next level, I hope he goes this year.
I also hope Nick Reveiz smacks him in the mouth on the way out!

Beating TN at Neyland on Senior Day his last game is huge incentive for Cobb.

It isn't his senior day or his last game. Randall Cobb is just a junior. And while he could enter the draft after this season, he still has one season left.
