Anybody else having trouble getting UP for Indiana.

Intersting, that Indiana has 6 players from the state of Tennessee.

People from Indiana are generally nice as they can be. It's difficult to work up much rancor.
Very true, and I don't do rancor. I don't get the "hate comments" regarding opponents. Don't care who it is.
Indiana is a Big Ten school with a very respectable football program that has a long history and anyone failing to respect the possibility that they can defeat the Volunteers does so at their peril.

Probably Tennessee transplants whose roots didn't take. So they went and got re-potted in Indiana with better luck or what passes for luck there.

We have to settle for small victories op. We play in the sec. if we could have an 8-5 season (especially considering the start)...that’s a big win for us. So I’m pretty excited for the game. I took for granted playing in bowl games 20 years ago.

As George Carlin would say, You up for the game? Man I've been up all week...

GO VOLS

I truly have to question anyone that has problems getting up for a Big Orange game. I would put those folks in same category that wear Vols gear but don't answer back in public to a "Go Big Orange".

I get to see Tennessee play after December 31st. I get to see Jauan Jennings be the man for one more game (well, half game). I get to see Marquez Callaway produce impossible catches for one more game. I get to see Trey Smith put some pancakes on the dinner table for one more game. I get to see Darrell Taylor live in someone else's backfield for one more game. I get to see Daniel Bituli introduce some fools to the blessed turf for one more game.

I ain't got no problems getting excited about this game. These kids have shown up ready to work every time, W or L. They'll show up ready for one more game. And Vol Nation will show up ready too. Let's GET IT ON.

Absolutely. We've had so little success of late it's hard to imagine how anyone would not be thrilled to be in a Jan 2 bowl after the start of this season. So many good stories you so eloquently pointed out. I'm tickled to be playing anyone in a bowl game. I've said it several times. I'll never look down my nose at a winning season or bowl game again. They're all something I'll celebrate and enjoy.

I'm going to unfortunately say yes, but only becausr their reputation is so lame over the decades. They seem to be on par with us this year. As long as the team is able to get up for the game, that's what matters.

Not excited about playing Indiana. Bout like playing Va. Tech.
Just not exciting.
Ya i`ll watch it but this season has been a bust for me.
A bust? Clear development and improvement across the board, ending the season on a 5 game win streak, and a bowl game in Florida in January isn’t a bust to me. It’s a huge step in the right direction, but to be fair my glasses are the orangest of the orange. My wife is making a batch of orange kool aid as I type this

We have an opportunity to see them tossing chairs across the field, out of the frustration that we cause them.

I would be more excited about the game if Bobby Knight was coaching the Hoosiers. That would be something to see

I am glad I can't see the original post. Based on who it is, I am sure it is another tirade about how bad the team is, how bad the QB is, how bad the HC is....blah, blah, blah.

For those not excited to see the VOLS play, turn off your TV and knit a sweater. I will be just as excited as I am anytime my Alma Mater plays.

I don't think that after the way this season started we should overlook anyone. Indiana has to be better than GA State.

I'm looking forward to watching the game and seeing how this extra practice time helps the team.
