Anybody else having trouble getting UP for Indiana.

Nothing much to lose or gain from this game 8-5 or 7-6 same difference really. Our critics will still say we didn’t beat anybody even if we beat Indiana and will never let us forget the Ga. St debacle. Now if we were 9-3 or 8-4 and had of beat Ga.St and not choked away the BYU game and playing for a 10 win season in a bowl against Michigan or Penn St. it would be different. Regardless of the bowl outcome I’m still not sure Pruitt is the right guy.

Oh... I'd say your opinion of Pruitt is quite certain and obvious.

I'm "not sure" he's the guy. So I don't talk him down or up. If I see good then I say it. If I see bad then I say it. The two early losses were among the worst I've seen UT have. At least the worst since Wyoming.

That said, I genuinely believe that Jones was a downright awful coach and particularly when it came to S&C and player development. So before saying Pruitt is or isn't the right guy... I want to see what he can do in that department while trying to build the roster to full strength.

You're way too obvious to try to play the "objective observer".

No problem at all and I like the matchup. It has been 3 years and I do not see how anyone would not be excited to be eligible for a bowl game and cap off the season which started UT’s rise back to relevancy.

It's hard to get really excited when you know we'll be playing a QB whose ceiling is 2 or 3 TDS.

I expect to win, but watching him run through molasses and throw 50/50 balls for four quarters does not excite.

That said, I'm grateful to be in a bowl, and will be watching. But I'm not so overly pumped as I would normally be.

I can't wait. We are driving down on the 31st and coming back on the 3rd. We are not the championship caliber we once were, but neither is Indiana a champion. This should be a good match up. Indiana had a good year, so did UT. Tee it up and play. The hell with what the name of the team is. It's football. And if you can't get excited seeing UT win then I do feel sorry for you.

Neither of us are playing Indiana so neither of us should have to “get up” for Indiana. Sure hope the team is though.
