Thank you! I am shocked at the “oh no, we suck again” replies to this loss. Does it suck to lose a sure-fire win? Absolutely, but given the circumstances of this team’s defensive health, and if you’ve watched any of the other SEC teams at all, we are absolutely a top 10 team.

Well you have two choices. We've shown we can't out coach Georgia .

So we can continue to recruit behind Georgia or we can out recruit them (or at least get to the same level).

When some of is bemoan the fact the we often recruit around the 5th-7th best roster in the SEC we're called "star-gazers" and we're reminded of some obscure 2* player that made it big in the NFL. But after a loss to UGA then we're reminded how much more talent UGA has than us.

Recruiting is part of coaching.

Their defense sure but we still carved that defense up. Our oline is better. Our dline has too much talent (starters hurt or not) to not do better than that.

You’re just on a tear and won’t listen to anyone. Maybe today you’ll feel a little better. It’s definitely disappointing but there are some positives too. Prior UT teams would’ve been toast once they gave up the lead, for example.

Look, Heup is our coach. He proved it today. We could have folded in the third. We should have won. Let's hope he can lean into this and make us a CFP team again.

This is the most positive takeaway. When Georgia went up 24-21, past Vol teams woulda ended up losing 38-21 or even 45-21.

This team fought even to the end and had a great chance to win.

A coach’s job is to put his teams in position to win. We got that.

Maybe a few plays could have been called differently in hindsight, but hindsight isn’t a fair way to evaluate anything.
