Just thinking about having Mac, JRM, Sutton, Phillips and hopeful Tuttle all healthy and back on D is got me very optimistic for next season. Has anyone heard how his rehab is going? :hi:

It is progressing so well he has changed his name to Michelangelo the Ninja Tuttle and is wearing a yellow handkerchief with eye holes to rehab sessions per Derek Dooley and Dez Bryant's shared twitter account DEZnDOOLS4ever.

Tuttle suffered a tough injury for anyone but for a man his size it will take a little longer. Just hope he picks up where he left off. He was starting to make plays consistently.

I was just glad to hear Coach Mark Richt (being the upstanding morally devout man he is) call out his player for the cheap shot to intentionally injure Tuttle and also apologize to Shy and to Coach Jones,,,,,,,,,, Oh wait, he still hasn't.! Well at least officials from the SEC offices were quick to .........uhhhhhhh?

Injuries heal at pretty much the same rate for all humans no matter their physical size.

That's true and all, but the laws of gravity will put a 300 lb DT's ankle under much more strain than a 180 lb CB's ankle with a similar injury.

Luckily, DTs don't have to do quite as much sprinting up and down the field

Are you saying that all humans heal at the same rate or just that size doesn't matter?

People do not heal at the same rate. There are many factors involved including genetics, diet, physical health, chronic diseases, etc.

Physical size may play a role for many different reasons as well. For instance, the bone density of a heavy person will differ from that of a light person. Because of this, forensics can tell the approximate weight of a deceased person based on their leg bones.

I just hope he's 100% or close by midsummer.

He's going to need time to beef back up, pack on the muscle and get back into really good playing shape.

We finally have some depth and talent on the D line but King Tut is a big piece of the rotation and we need that big man on the field.

I wish him all the best in getting back as soon as possible.

Team 120, climbing up the rankings WIN by WIN...VFL...GBO!!!
