Ain't gonna get any Jrs or Srs. Maybe a slight chance with underclassmen--next year. Best chances are with PSU 2013 prospects.

Just wondering if any new news on this?

It appears to me that the PSU players are buying in to the "Team First" "Us Against the World" attitude.
However;if Redd transfers to USC, it will open up the flood gates for more to transfer also.
To me, it makes no sense to remain at P.S.U. The situation will only get worse. (1) No quality recruits will be sign with P.S.U. in the near future. (2) Players that graduate will not be replaced due to limited scholarships.
(3) Less money for the school due to them not having a bowl revenue sharing with other school's in their conference (4) Less money because they aren't eligible to go to a bowl game.
By year # 4, they will lose game's to Akron, Toledo,
U. Mass, etc. etc.
Why waste your career playing at a place that will get you no where?

For some people, loyalty is everything. If the roles were reversed, most of you would damn any UT player that jumped ship citing a lack of loyalty and other whines.

Do I want us to grab some of those PSU players? You bet I do! But I respect those who insist that they are Nittany Lions first and always. I'd want our Vols to have that attitude and not be jackals like say that Arnett guy.

I agree that from a certain perspective, it makes more sense to leave if you're a signee, freshman, sophomore, or even a junior. But I'd never condemn them for being loyal. Too darn many people these days their word isn't worth rabbit scat. In this age of cheating on your significant other, cops that disgrace what their uniform is suppose to stand for, teachers betraying the trust of kids and their parents by humping their students, food service personal who intentionally contaminate your food and worse, there's a lot to be said for the PSU players who put loyalty first.

we have 85 on scholly.. we could only possibly take 1 if the NCAA grants that 86 rule for the year, but then he would be counted towards next year.

How is TN going to be all much better? Were still on probation for recruiting violations, and Dooley has one foot out the door following two losing seasons. Unless Bama, LSU, or USC comes calling then its probably not worth transferring.

Every football team in America is trying to get some of the PSU players.

CDD already said they've contacted some of the players that he thinks can help us the most.

CDD also said he's very happy with most of the players we have in our program right now so we won't be going after many of the PSU roster.

You can bet CDD will be going hard after the early commits for next signing day since most of them will probably decommit from PSU now and will start all over again on where they'll now want to go so we could get a few really good players for next signing day.

VFL...GBO!!!
