Any Weezer Fans?

Wow! I have my own thread, and it isn't even in the zone! This is awesome! I think I might cry.

Told you yesterday, I gave that to Jerry for his birthday. I do not understand your resistance to hugging.

Everybody loves me.

Took you long enough, stuck in the zone or something?
:huggy:

Stop fighting it.

Resistance is futile!

It puts the lotion on its skin.

It rubs the lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow your roll. I didn't say anything about hose play. We were talking about an innocent hug, then you go and get all perverted. Way to ruin a moment. I'm not some cheap floosy. I'll have you know, I have class.

this sounds like some BS.

she is being charged with attempted murder, but they can't even say if she fired a shot? if she didn't shoot what was "attempted"?

I could see some type of threat with a deadly weapon if the police identified themselves before the shooting and she didn't comply. if they did identify themselves it seems strange that she tries to pick a fight.

Either

1) she was high on drugs acting out, or
2) the cops were high on adrenaline, ****ed up, and now it's CYA.

Going to see them on Thursday at the AZ state fair. Will be my third time seeing them. They were my first concert (without my parents) at the ampitheater in Knoxville when I was 13, way back when the blue album came out. Like them or not, they put on a hell of a show and are so cool to their fans.

The new album is pretty good...kind of a throwback to their old stuff. Anybody else give it a listen yet?

you mean the yeti @Weezer ? or the band?

Yeah, their hits from the first album were awesome...after the first album, their hits were OK, but not their best stuff. Their best album is Pinkerton, and there weren't any singles from it that were popular.
Pink Triangle got a little publicity.

Ok, yeah, so they shot a confused homeowner in her own backyard. Nice work, fellas.

The initial reports had me thinking she was out in the road in front of her house shooting at the patrol cars, or something.
They f***ed up and are trying to cover their ass. Typical scumbag cop behavior.

I know it’s a short video, but I dont think I heard them announce they were police.

whats strange is her reaction after shooting, and maybe being shot herself, she just strolls back inside like nothing happened.

Yeah, from the start I thought she could be on drugs, but also that could just be adrenaline.

I'm trying to find details about her wound, and stumbled across this funny quote from a police spokesperson:

"Shriner was struck by gunfire and fled"

Such a funny way to say "the cops shot her."

Here are her quotes to 911 and what can be picked up on camera:

"Oh, there were three men, she says there were three men and one of them shot her and the cops are looking for him right now. They have their guns out, and I don’t know if they found him yet or not, but they told me to not look out the window."

"I had my gun. And he said, put down that gun, put down that gun. I said put down your f—king gun and then he shot me."

She had no idea they were cops. Maybe she heard some people saying "we're the police," but there were like 10 officers all around and she thought those 3 cops were bad guys. Also notable, she doesn't mention shooting her gun.

something is jacked up. I get defending your home, but I am not walking out of my house at three armed guys I don't know, yet alone starting a fire fight when I am out in the open.

People are people and find a million different ways to act in emergency situations. I always see cops say this in crime documentaries, "That's not how I would act if my spouse had just been killed." when the truth is, none of us have any idea how we would act unless we've been in a similar situation.

I'm also not sure she started a fire fight. I'll need that proven before I believe it. All we have is the cop's narration of events, and they could be wrong or lying. Can they even prove her gun was fired?
