Any way to "Run through the T"

yes... i know you're going to laugh, but anyone know how you can get to run through the T with the team?

I recall a few years back the school auctioned packages that included pregame passes and running through the T... . but I havent seen anything like this recently and it's on my bucket list :yes:

1. Get seats in the visitors/guest section
2. Wait for the team to assemble in the tunnel
3. Hop down into the tunnel and run out with them

"How do you get to run through the T without being arrested"

Lots of Cash, play for the team, be associated with the team.

I knew a guy who ran through the T a few years ago. He has since passed. I should ask his son how he did it, but it may have something to do with him supplying RVs for the big orange caravan.

A 1 million dollar donation would probably get it done n

Or you could become a cheerleader.

Or you could join the athletic training staff.

Or you could become a team manager.

Other obvious ways are to become a coach or player.

This does not bode well :( I was hoping i could find an auction or something for $1500 or so.

I've been down in the tunnel several times before and during games. I've never considered attempting running through the T but I bet it could be done. You would have to dress correctly and act like you belong. You can walk down to the section that recruits and families sit in. There are stairs that go down to the tunnel to access Wolf-Kaplan. There is a guard but if you don't act fishy, you won't get hassled.

If you donated a good amount of money to the band, you could probably find a way to run through the T the day they practice the march to the stadium a couple weeks before the first game. The last few years they've ended the drill portion of that rehearsal day with Fight, Vols, Fight and Down the Field for boosters to experience that thrill.

Was it early, mid 90's that a guy donated 1mil for him and his wife to run through the T?

Pretend to have some disease and get on ESPN and have Derek Dooley push you through the T.

Not that I wouldn't LOVE to do it, but it didn't seem as hyped as I thought it would be in the tunnel. I figured the players would be going ape $hit in there, I know I would be.

find a big homeless guy and groom him to play real well. Then send Tennessee video highlights. If they come begging, make it part of the deal.

I think the entire crowd should run through the T and then run up to their seats. That would be impressive.

Donate a million dollars a la "Thunder" and get to run through it at a spring game.

Or write a book about the UT experience.
