Coaching conventions are overrated.

Seriously, good point brought up by OP.

Lot of hires used to get done at this thing if memory serves.

It's actually a excellent opportunity for Fulmer and Pruitt to talk with lots of people in a short period of time.

It used to be the number 1 place where lots of coaches got new jobs.

I would think that soon after this is over that we'll hear some kind of news......I hope.

VFL...GBO!!!

IMHO, the Glazier Clinics are 10,000x better than AFCA. AFCA usually consists of grad assistants handing out business cards and resumes (which is fine, it has its place) and coaches giving presentations that don't really contribute much. The vendors at AFCA are a much bigger part of the experience than at Glazier. The crowd at AFCA is way bigger too.

At the Glazier clinics, you're definitely going to walk away with drills and schemes that you'll use. At AFCA, those big-time coaches seem to want to keep secrets and end up talking about their "culture" and how important intangible things like effort and buy-in are to the program. Cool stuff to hear, but that's not why I'm there. Gimme drills and scheme all day long.
