The entire story of DB Cooper will be known before anyone ever gets the truth of what's happened the past week at Tennessee.

I think this is exactly what's happening - and needs to happen. The boosters were caught off guard by Haslam and Currie trying to sneak Schiano in the back door. The ish hit the fan among boosters as the Schiano hire was not on the radar of any boosters. It was a betrayal of the boosters by Currie and Haslam. The mask is off Currie and Haslam was caught red-handed as his scheme backfired. The boosters are rallying forces to stop the power grab, while Currie is busy trying to cram a hire through to salvage his job. Hopefully, the boosters can put enough pressure on DiPietre to remove Currie, install Blackburn or Fulmer and bring boosters together to fund a real coach.

That'd be a giant step in the right direction...so I highly doubt it's happening

Exactly. Cool stuff like that doesn't happen for us. But if there's a worst case scenario for anything? THAT is the most likely outcome we will see.

This is unbelievable.

Now with switching the terms of the Brohm agreement ,,,in addition to their incompetence with Schiano and Gundy...not to mention trying to let us believe Gruden was coming...they now look like shady crooks. Insane.

If this is done just to hire Martin or Steele, I hope that it does not happen. IF UT hires Doeren our program is done for another 10 years.

She might have saved UT from the Schiano, but she screwed us royally on the Brohm hire.

He is the best coach that we have actually seemed to have negotiated with who wanted the job that was a competent hire. And she and Currie managed to hose that up.

Currie is either the dumbest thing walking or the most arrogant. I can't decide which. At this point, it really doesn't matter.
