hopefully but this is the 2nd or 3rd time CP's arrival has been pushed back so it is getting concerning - i believe initially people thought he could be a midtermer - then June - now July - hopefully someone corrects me if i am remembering this wrong but it is getting concerning

Everything I've heard for the last 5-6 months has said he would be here in July. No need to panic.

According to CDD, "Davante Bourque from Crowley (La.) High School, five-star wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College and possibly “one or two more” UT signees won’t be able to enroll until at least the second session of summer school in early July."

Even if they make it in, they will be too far behind to make an inmediate upgrade, unless they are unbelievably talented. I just hope they make it in.

Damn, is it me, or doesn't it seem like for the past couple of years there have been key guys we need that are on the bubble of making it and other teams do not seem to have this problem? With our lack of depth, every kid we sign has to COUNT. We don't have the luxury missing on kids here and there. I would say that getting kids qualified would be JOB 1 for the UT staff if they know whats good for them! :ermm:

I can see three thought processes you could use to help make it through this. 1. Believe every single thing that is written on here even though it took about 10 minutes to debunk the whole "CP has moved his incoming date back three times" crap. 2. Yes we are the only school that has this problem of waiting to see if guys make it in. Junior college is just filled with rosters of guys that just needed some remedial traing before D1 schools would look at them. 3. Maybe, just maybe, and I know this is a crazy thought but I just wanted to throw it out there. Maybe you don't follow other teams as closely as UT.

This may be the exact reason we get the kid. Other schools shy away after they figure out he is at academic risk. Maybe we are missing the boat in the academic recruiting here. Maybe we need to do a better job of looking at the kid's grade history instead of looking just at the game films.

Will the entire class get in or are there any academic tragedies? And who?

Come again? "In trouble of getting in", is that even English? Oh btw, it's "academic casualty" not academic trajedy. Wow oh wow.:banghead2:
