We should’ve been leading at halftime. To many injuries in the 2nd half. Depth issues.Yep, it ended up an asswhipping but we looked good in the first quarter. Let's get some positive comments in here. I thought the run game looked good for what we have at this time. Cooper played through the pain and showed a lot of heart.
What positives can you add?
Tennessee had nearly 100 more total yards than Alabama against Florida while running only five more plays than the Crimson Tide did against the Gators.Yep, it ended up an asswhipping but we looked good in the first quarter. Sad when a Gator fan is more positive about TN rebuild than a TN fan...First half big play offense.
#8 is a very good SEC RB.
Heupel can call plays, knows what he’s doing.
Scrappy defense, not very deep but well-coached.
Team fought for 4 quarters, no quit detected.
We were walking around campus a few hours before the game and some florida fans invited us to their tailgate---good food, beer, and loads of tequila shots---helped dull the pain from the game.
I could understand that if is it was Saban. Dan Mullen doesn't tend to mince his words. How much of that was coachspeak, how was of that was Mullen trying to change the narrative for their sluggish first half, and how much of it was his true feelings?
Just after hearing Saban wax poetically about Dooley and Pruitt, I'm just a bit skeptical.
