Any parking tips for home games?

What hours do the trolley run? It's more than a ten minute walk.

It's more like a 20 minute walk. And the walk back is all uphill and brutal.

The trolley starts about 2-3 hours before kickoff and starts running in the other direction at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

There are several houses on Lake Ave that sell parking during gamedays for ~$20 a spot, but you may get blocked in. However, it's one of the cheaper places in the Strip/campus area and there's lots of prime tailgating space if you get there early enough.

Dont park ANYWHERE near Lake Ave unless u want to sit for 2-3 hrs after the game because KPD (code for idiots) blocks all roads to Cumberland!

Actually the state street municipal garage is a good suggestion but don't take the trolley. Just walk. It's not that far, and the trolley is overpriced.
Overpriced? Last year it cost all of $5 for a round trip ticket. If you're not tailgating, it's hard to beat free parking near good bars and restaurants and a $5 ride to and from the game.

We usually park by 17th st or behind the the fairgrounds. Both are around $10 tickets and both your out and on the interstate in less than 10 minutes.

You could check around and take a bus ride in that picks up hotel guest etc., at designated Alcoa Hotels. About ten -fifteen bucks but you get dropped off close and don't have to fight traffic other than that plus no parking fee. If you arrive early and park along the river by the concrete plant area and walk you always get out faster the further away you park.Best thing book hotel close enough and walk. I have done all three.

We usually carpool, though. Which makes $5/person inefficient, when we could pay a little more and park at the stadium.

I guess it's my youth and vitality, but I don't think the walk is bad at all. The walk back does have one big hill you have to take, but it's not all uphill.

I still prefer to take the motorcycle and park for free one block from the stadium entrance. I just have to be extra careful to manage my drunkenness so that I'll be plenty sober by the end of the game.

I plan to park at the Market Square garage tomorrow. I would arrive at about 2:30, is this too late? will the garage be full by then? I take I-75 North to get home, is there another place that anyone would suggest? I am young and don't mind to walk a mile, two or even three.
