Sallee from Bleacher Report said he was an off the wall candidate.

Quarterbacks coach G.A. Mangus is, according to Sallee, an “off the wall candidate” who would be a good fit with the program. Mangus’ work with dual threat quarterback Connor Shaw and his recruiting prowess are the main selling points for Sallee seeing Mangus as a good fit for Tennessee. The video feature also goes on to mention former Clemson coach and current Alabama assistant Billy Napier as another candidate.

Hey buddy, I know you probably consider the Google machine to be a real newfangled 21st century toy but if you use it for 30 seconds you might discover that not only is Mangus a full-time member of the coaching staff at USCe, he is 35-12 as a head coach (33-4 in his last 3 seasons) and has actually been an OC/QB coach for several years in the state of Tennessee (MTSU).

The more you know...

If memory serves me correctly, it was Mangus who brought the zone read with him to USCjr. He's a major influence on their offense and would be a great hire.

He took a drunken whizz in public and got a citation.

Let's not pretend we haven't all done the same thing, hopefully minus the citation. There are worse offenses

I hear Ya. Maybe in my 20s, not so much when you are in your 40s. Shows a lack of good judgment. Not exactly the kind of role model I want around our players

I was actually trying to be funny . Apopka and Thonotassa have a lot in common . The people that live in both places think it's great. Why live in fla if you do not live on the water ?

I've lived on both coasts, Sarasota and Daytona Beach.. I used to say the the same thing amigo..

Yeah. Me and my buddies did at 2am behind the mall. My wife and 6 month old had to come pick us up to keep us out of jail. I miss those guys. Haven't seen them since 1997.....
