Any of you realize that we just came off the toughest stretch of games in CFB this year

Not accurate in my opinion. 6 games or more last year and 8 games this year. I give JG benefit of the doubt because a new offense came in with Helton. He had a built -in advantage by being on campus in the spring over Chryst. I never joined in the QB debate earlier this August thinking the coaches would make the right choice. I went as far as to commend JG on his Auburn performance thinking,(wrongly), that he was developing the back shoulder pass. It was Chryst's performance in the Bama game that made me feel that he deserved to play more. He was blitzed just as often as JG was in that game and completed 2 of 3 passes under pressure. I strongly feel that KC sees the field better and makes faster reads than JG.
Just remember that J.Hurts started the entire season for Bama in 2017 and in 2nd half of the title game Saban played a hunch that Tua might give the tide the lift they needed to get a passing game going or else UGA would key on Bama's running game to the extent of stopping it and winning the game. Saban could always pull Tua back out if he didn't do well. Pruitt has those same options now. What's it gonna hurt to give Chryst a deserving shot? He's a 5th year senior and looks more composed and rythmic in the game in my view. I'm not ashamed of wanting UT to win a football game either. If Shrout displays the ability to see the field better, I'd expect him to start ahead of JG next year as a redshirt freshman. 14 games now and the OLine still getting all the blame.

I can't argue that KC sees the field well and that he played well against Alabama. He is a decent QB, but you mentioned a very important detail... he is a 5th year senior. After this season he is out of eligability and will not be a VOL next year. I would love to see more voctories for the remainder of our schedule, but I would rather see JG develope. He is a red shirt sophmore and barring injuring or an extremely talented freshman, he will be QB1 next year and very possibly the following year as well. Better to take our lumps this year and let him grow than take the easy out with KC for a few more W's in what has amounted to yet another building year for our program IMHO.

Just going to put this out there at just 50 a ticket no donation they would make around 5,000,000 a game. And that's just for 100 thousand they make alot of money.

Tennessee practically have the same schedule every year..
Yes. Who else plays Florida, Georgia & Alabama in the first half of their schedule every year? Who plays anything remotely comparable in the first half of their schedule every year?

I've said it before. I'll say it again. With our yearly schedule, we've got to be National Championship good just to win our division.

Move UT to Jackson so they can play in the SECW. Oh, nevermind. Still would play Bama, LSU, Auburn and A&M every year.

Join the ACC maybe. Is the MAC still a thing?

We can make it easier or we can grow a pair and get this thing back on track.
