Forget what was previously said. Preliminary tests show torn ACL. They are going to do a final test tomorrow to make sure 100% that it is indeed a torn ACL.

Now the work begins. Wish him luck with rehab and can't wait to see him next year!

Gerald Williams is gonna be a beast. I say he gets in and proves he should have been here the whole time.

I would love to see him get in already... however its nobodys fault but his... its not like the clearing house has a chip on its shoulder and is picking just on gerald williams... he just hasn't done everything he needs to so its nobodys fault but his.... imo

From my understanding that isn't exactly true...he did what the clearinghouse said he needed to do - they then changed the rules on him again and denied him. Anyway, I don't want to start a thread hijack here, especially an injury thread. Best of luck to Ben Martin. He is one of my favorite recruits from this class.

Where is Wes Brown?

He seems to have fallen off the map after a few people predicted that he'd have a break out season.

Brown will be a solid contributor but he will never be a superstar. He is our #4 DE right now. Good depth guy. We just have to find a #5 guy right now and maybe a situational pass rusher or two.

This stinks, but he gets another year to get older and stronger. He will still have 4 years of elgibility remaining so it's not too bad.

What about the 3-4 talk is there any truth to it? And is Chavis more likely to try it out now? Mathis was originally a linebacker anyway.
