Hyams was just on 104.5 the zone saying Selby dropped Kentucky from his list. I take this to mean he's a uk lock.

Hubbs said on TV last night that we are still in it for Selby, but that little more is known at this point than that. Said he wouldn't be surprised if he chose any one of the three schools(UT, UK, KU) but the young man has played it pretty close to the vest. All we know is that we will find out on Saturday. No new news.

He's leaning heavily towards Kansas. Tennessee is the only school I would call a threat at this time...

Kentucky has already locked up Brandon Knight which cancels them out for Selby. They wouldn't mix as well together as Wall and Bledsoe did. Bledsoe understood he was taking a backseat and neither of these guys will want to do that.

Wrong again, just as you were about the Vols folding down the stretch in bball. Kentucky is not out of it by any stretch of the imagination. KU’s the definite leader with Tennessee losing momentum and UK gaining momentum, to say UK’s out of it is incorrect from what I understand.

I thought he already made up his mind last week or so and was just not telling anyone until Saturday? Guess I fell out of the loop...

Well KU and UT coaches met with him last Friday. And his mother said he has been changing his mind alot. Thus pretty much confirming it's far from over. I think its down to those two.

However, I still think he signs w/ Kansas.

O ok. Do we know if he is still announcing his decision this weekend? And if he does is he signing his LOI then, or would there still be time for him to change his mind after he announces?

I heard that distance can ultimately become a factor.

Those of you who are saying UK lean are just hoping for a probation in a few years because then they become irrelevant and Calamari will bail on the mess he made, AGAIN.

Did you not hear his quote where he said "If John Wall and Eric Bledsoe can play together so can me and Brandon Knight."

The point is, nobody knows where is going. There are rumors that he's leaning towards Kansas; another rumor says he's leaning towards Tennessee; and there is now a rumor that he's leaning towards UK.

So, simply dismissing that he's considering UK is stupid because there is just as much evidence that says he is considering UK.

He won't go to UK, JMO. Kansas/Tennessee battle with KU leading. Yet giving the nature of his recruitment over the past year, anything is possible.

That wasn't my "point" the OP was saying hes not going to UK because of not having the lime light.Then I posted his quote about playing with Knight. It is my opinion that hes not going to UK.

Yea, sorry about that... I wasn't actually aiming that at you. I was aiming at the posters above who just act like it's a fact that he's not going to UK because of Knight.
