Any issues with digital tickets?

I was not able to put my tickets in my wallet so I had to hope for the best. I opened them up during the last 100 yards or so from the gate, and I had no issues. But I had always used the Ticketmaster app before while just relying my internet signal, and I’ve never had a problem.

I had a 30 min wait @ gate 20, about one hour before kickoff. Gate 21 had a long line.

My son said he and other students missed the first TD ad the line was slow moving at the student gate.

I may be wrong but there wasn’t any ventilation in the concourses, so it eas extremely hot and humid standing in the long lines for concessions.

I was already stressed as it took me over 4hrs to drive from Nash area to Knox as traffic was horrible.

But, I went to the game and drove back afterwards. Paying for it now.

That is good to hear. I figured it would work out fine. Hoping I get a chance to experience the new-fangled technology myself this season. Maybe the KY jelly game. Go Vols!

We have always gone through the student gate with no problems and short wait. Did put tickets in wallet days ago. Heard someone say they had trouble getting tickets in wallet because they tried to do outside stadium. The scanners are manned and they help you with scanning multiple tickets. Great game, flyover and halftime show. Large showing of students who stood and hollered. Since we were over one section didn't bother us.

So, is it all digital tickets now? Sorry, I haven't been to a game since 2019, before that went yearly for the most part. So, no more actual tickets that you carry in by hand, correct? I remember paying $2.50 to get in for the 1984 Florida game, back in the day.

Our parking pass scanned but he said their system was completely bogged down and not working the majority of the time. No trouble getting in stadium, except for long ass line. There were other not able to open app.

No trouble at gate 2, but the line at 21 was really long when we passed.

The student sections were another story. My son was in line before 6:30 and didn't get in until 7:15. He said everyone was very frustrated. I think they all had to use gates 4 and 5.

My wife’s ticket still hasn’t been processed lol. The guy said, heck I can see it on your phone so go ahead. That was after 5or 6 try’s.

My best friend and his wife missed 1/2 of first quarter. Said they waited 30 minutes. I’m not sure what time they got there but they are normally early.

Its like anything else new, takes some time but they will figure it out. Get there earlier if you can and show them patience….they don’t like holding you up as much as you don’t like it.

So I scanned one ticket and the girl thanked me. Though I had 3 people. She didn't check the number of tix with the number of people. I could have snuck in 4 people with only one tix. It was slow going because they had one scanner

Yep, no more paper tix so they can pass the savings on to us

No problem quick at gate 2. Locust street parking has an issue of some sort that caused everyone to back up down the street to let people out who couldn't get in....that was around 3:20. The usually lady working was stressed at that time.

***And yes, people were still getting in with paper tickets, I saw it for myself.

No issues at all at Gate 2. Walked right in and scanned our tickets with zero line and no drama. I was actually very pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it all went. I dragged the family there early anticipating some long lines and tech issues, and they were sure to give me allllll the side-eyes while we were baking in the sun in section C for 2 hours prior to kickoff.

The 'tap it' part of the scanner was broken at the Truly gate when we went in. Had to open the TN app and use the bar code instead of the wallet. I was not alone. Gate dude was over it and the line was long.

So, seems like only a few highly-traveled gates had issues?

I think tweaking that, along with FIXING THE WIFI, and this issue will be put to bed.
