Has he had a meeting with Cade Mays yet?
We are in way better shape than when Dooley took over. A decent coach could get this team to 7-5 easily next year. The talent is there. No way Saban is still coaching in 4 years, so a very realistic chance UT could compete if we get great coaches in here.Unless Fulmer can sell a Peterson, Gundy, etc level of coach to rethink it and come to UT, there's very little chance Mayes will come to UT. Just too much of a chit show t deal with. His top 3 are all capable of a championship with no doubts surrounding the roster or staff. Even if Mayes did come, it's going to take a few years to turn this roster over and around. Since he's not likely to RS, his choice is clear. Folks need to accept that and just turn the page on him.
