He's 240 and quick. Literally looks like a man among boys when he carries the ball. It takes 2-3 guys to tackle nearly every play. I've seen him play in person.

He did both. When they lined up in a 1 back set he was the one back. In the I-formation he was the lead blocker (most of the time). He has good hands. When Baylor threw, it was usually to the TE or Cooper. I saw 4 of their games this year. The reason he wasn't asked to block much was because of a lack of a good tailback. The QB moved to tailback alot when they went to 2 backs.

Plus he usually was the best kid (McCallie being one exception) on the field and to not give him the ball and ask him to block would be stupid.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to watching him. Hopefully he can be more than just a blocker..

Yeah but the way they used him as a reciever out of the backfield sometimes TB. He's bigger than Fleming and probably stronger as a freshman than Fleming was.

I started as a linemen for Baylor this year, and let me just tell you Coop is a beast, he has one of the best work ethics I have ever scene. He also has great hands for a FB. I could definely see him having a lot of carries on the next level.

I think Fleming's attitude was because he was a stud TB in High School that had a hard time adjusting to being a FB in college. Cooper has the right mindset from the beginning and after the FB play this year I bet he comes in and works his tail off for the chance to play early.

Read in the paper today that Cooper is working out with his High School Coach to get ready for the fall. Oh, some dude named Eric Westmoreland.

I talked to Cooper after Baylor's B-ball game Friday and he said he's going to come in, keep his mouth shut and do everything the coaches tell him to do. He has been training with Westmoreland everyday that he doesn't have basketball practice or games. He'll continue this until he reports here in June.

I hate Randy Sanders. I thought it was great at halftime of the UK game when they announced that Cutcliffe needed a pay raise. That had to tear Sanders up.
