Any Dobbs updates from Senior Bowl?

Dobbs is a gamer and has almost single handedly won us games. Get out of here.

He also lost us lots of games we should have won like South Carolina. A gamer does not make a good qb or a winner. In butch I trust. In Dobbs I don't. Good riddance.
Keep this thread when we win 10-11 games next year, so you can eat crow.

Fantastic!!??? Boy your standards are low! What was our problem all year? Slow starts correct? And how did Dobbs look to start the game? Less than 7yds per attempt is far from looking good nonetheless fantastic!! Take off the Dobbs colored glasses people and stop blaming everyone else like Butch, Azzani or the O-line. It was always Dobbs!!

Mayock did praise cam Sutton for his work ethic and football IQ during practice this week.... Unfortunately Dobbs didn't make a huge impression in the game IMO and Peterman looked good, one of only a few QBs in this draft who took snaps from under center consistantly this season and it showed his comfort level in the game, had some decent QB runs too.

Mayock has been downplaying Dobbs all week, and playing up Davis Webb. I'm not saying he has an agenda, but sometimes these guys have trouble admitting when their pick is right or wrong.

Dobbs looked fine. 12/15 for over 100 yards is pretty on the money.

It's hard for me to take someone with a cartoon character's voice seriously.

Webb does look good. South 6 North 3.

I didn't watch every play, but I did see quite a few high passes and then some nice lil quick hitters on 5-7 yard pass routes....Until his last drive were he hit about 5-6 straight short routes he didn't impress me. I was really hoping to see him stretch the field but didn't get the proper play calling perhaps, looked shaky under center which caused a false start...I'm not bashing Dobbs I love him, but I'm not going to act like what I saw was impressive. Fumbles by RBS and odd reverse play calls didn't help him the chance to shine enough again just my two cents. It's an odd setup in the senior game with rules etc though to be fair.

This pretty much proves my point. Dobbs was not a winner. Athletic ability doesn't make you a good qb or winner. It helps over the span of a game, and it makes you a "gamer", but I'd rather have a winner.

Was it called football with Dobbs at Qb? What a joke. Great athlete, yes. Good QB? Far from it![/QUOTE

You just destroyed your credibility by saying Dobbs is far from a good quarterback. One look at his statistics proves that you are wrong. Less than good quarterback's do not get invited to the Senior Bowl.

Dobbs is looking like...Dobbs. I'm telling you people, our problem was never WR's or O-line. It has always been Dobbs!! Inconsistent, mediocre, slow starter. His athletic ability is what made him good as talent eventually shows up in college football. But he's an awful QB!
Sooooo excited for the Guarantano era to begin. We will win more than 9 games next yr. Mark my words!

The funny part is you actually believe what you posted and the sad part is you think if you say it enough everybody else will believe it.

Halftime

South 9 North 3

Hugh Jackson mentions Josh Dobbs first and says he moved the ball well and did a good job and said it was not Dobbs' fault that his own linemen were backed into his throw causing the ball to be intercepted.

2nd Half on the way!

Poor Dobbs is going to end up in Cleveland.

I agree. Guarantano has proven to be a Heisman contender and it's time everyone knows it.
