That USED to be the case, but since the Epic Flooding In Houston (Harvey) , They "Experts" have been amazingly accurate; Predicting a "Stall Out" for Harvey (It Did exactly as they said; including the Monumental Flooding) . Florence is predicted to do the exact same thing. Rather uncanny. I don't remember hurricanes ever doing the Stall thing once they came ashore; and I've been through plenty since 1979 Frederick. Something is changing these storms; and for the Worse!Everytime these are predicted to hit head on they never do.... Hopefully it hangs off the coast and rolls with it .... Also, hopefully if it does hit directly it downgrades to a lower category.
Hmm, turns out I may have under-stated the winds.
There is a chance (maybe not a great one, but a chance) that we could see tropical storm-force winds (34 knots or greater) in Knoxville on game day.
Here's the word from the National Hurricane Center:

That shows Knoxville seeing high winds as early as Friday. This is "earliest reasonable," which means the storm is not likely to move west this quickly. But still, it could happen.
Here's the "most likely" version of the same info:

That has the winds picking up after the game is over, into Saturday evening.
Could be a windy day, Saturday. And an outside chance of VERY windy.

Line the outside of your butt with Velcro and take some to put on the seat. You will be fine
Then I would hate it for the next person that sat there next game.
