Any chance that Hurricane Florence will be a factor on Saturday?

Looks like Saturday could be really wet and windy. Many may stay home. The Vol Navy may be on the 50 yard line. Lots of games cancelled or postponed this Saturday. Any news or contingencies for us?

Based on current projections, looks like minimal impact during gametime. Weather will likely be nasty on Sunday but no need for contingency plan on Saturday, IMO. Still, I suspect that many fans who live well east of Knoxville will choose not to travel.

Everytime these are predicted to hit head on they never do.... Hopefully it hangs off the coast and rolls with it .... Also, hopefully if it does hit directly it downgrades to a lower category.

Those who live well east may not have a choice but to travel.

I'm surprised some haven't asked if Knoxville should have a precautionary evacuation-or should all the players be issued life vests! Without even looking at the forecast, some fans seem to think the worst of every situation-I believe these are the same guys that are in charge of calling delays, because someone thinks they saw lighting in South Carolina.

Early game, yeah! Hopefully that means less lightning too. If it were a Sunday game, would be LSU 2017 all over again.

At the West Virginia game we had to remain in the concourse. It was like being in a sauna with 60K sweating fans for 65 minutes.

Very low chance. We did not even get any rain out of Hugo.

Availability of gasoline is something else to ponder for those committed to attending the game. Shouldn't be a problem, but I would err on the side of caution.

I'm concerned that if they cancel the game, then it might wind up being the 6th win we needed to qualify for a bowl game this year.
