"We really want to win out and get to a bowl game. That's the only thing on my mind. I want to win every game. We are going to work hard and it starts on the practice field preparing for Ole Miss," Poole said.

If CDD manages to get this team to a bowl game, the future is certainly bright. A 6-6 season would be a major accomplishment.

It's been Darin Gooch and now James Stone at center. Neither was here a year ago. It's now Tyler Bray at QB, and he's been on campus 11 months. Poole couldnt get on the field a year ago. The list goes on and on...

Yeah it would be big, but i'm not sure they run off 3 straight SEC wins. Nice thought though.

with vanderbilt beating ole miss for their only conference win. Can't we beat ole miss as well?

I would not base it off of that, every team has their moments. They will be ready to play. I just hope what we saw last week continues for TENN.

If we win out each week will build momentum with recruiting as well. All of these tough times will make the wins that are coming that much sweeter.

We won't see a repeat performance from last week again this week. Memphis is terrible and has made every team they've played sans one look great. Ole Miss would easily hang 50 on Memphis as well. I expect a close game and with some breaks, a close win for the Vols this week.

Well in general we expect to be playing Kentucky for the right to go to a bowl game... so im on the bandwagon for both there

Well, we have to beat KY to go to a bowl, so it can be the best of both worlds.

One game at a time boys, one game at a time. This team is so young they can't be thinking about going to a bowl game. They have to focus on beating Ole Miss. Once that is done then they put all their effort towards Vandy. The senior leaders are going to have to step up and make the young guys focus on just one game at a time.

This has probably been said, but the importance of a bowl game itself is huge. We'd have closed the year on a 4 game win streak with a load of freshman playing....big help in recruiting. Most important issue of making a bowl game is the extra 20 practices or so the current players would get with each other, its like having 2 springs.

They get 15 extra and I am pretty sure any EE's can participate in those practices, also. That would help considerably too if we have any.

This reasoning doesn't work. If it did, how would you explain this.

Kentucky beat USCjr

USCjr beat Bama

Bama beat Ole Miss

Ole Miss beat Kentucky

I agree. A bowl game with this team would be nice. But first I want to see a nice solid SEC win. GBO!
