Antone Davis VFL

And when the story ends up being to do about nothing?

Seriously there are only so many seats on a plane, seats on a bus. The football players who are on the travel squad must travel. The coaches who are going to coach the game must travel. Those that tend to players on the side line (trainers, et al ) must travel.

Some folks are NOT must travel or be on the sideline folks. That choice has nothing to do with VFL or employment status - it is based on need, cost, capacity, etc.

Good post - travel list changes all the time. Just because you are an employee does not mean you travel

It may end up being nothing and the whole story will come out, however if it were nothing why would former players be so upset about it?

I could understand if there were some budget crunches (which I dont buy one bit) or limited travel due weird circumstances but if that were the case then why are the folks who know the situation pissed about it?

Look at the end of the day this may all come out to be a huge lie that Swain fabricated with John Brice, it wouldn't be the first time the swain event has pulled something like this (see mark crowder story)

On the Tony Basilio Show it was stated that Antone Davis was not allowed to travel with the team to Florida. It was also stated that Antone had to drive his personal car to ATL for the GA Tech game.

Butch Jones is in trouble if this is true.

Eh, it is what it is, I'm more worried that our coach said our QB can't take a snap from center, that bothers me more than this.

This isn't a real issue. Just more in the line of kicking a man when he's down syndrome. We don't know the goings on inside the AD, much less travel plans for the team, and how it works. Right now, it's a case of "let's find out everything negative we can find on Butch and write a story about it."

Butch said he was going to visit the sick children at St Jude's but he cancelled and was seen eating at CookOut on the strip instead.

Butch said if EB was in better shape, he wouldn't have hurt his knee.

Butch "Big Game" Jones is 27-15 since 2014, but 12-13 in SEC play. Well, the last one is true though, except the Big Game part. But, you get my drift.

Did Antoine make it to the game? His presence or lack thereof had zero bearing on the outcome of the game. To claim it did, is asinine. JMO
