Don't know the details but while this looks like 3 articles they are all sourcing the same ProPublica story.

EDIT: Read the Propublica story. The DOJ official and supposed Trump guy is ... wait for it.. Rod Rosenstein! LOL - he clearly did Trump's bidding.

Other goodies are sourcing like "5 people familiar with the meeting" - betting those 5 are all on the team that feels their case wasn't treated like they wanted.

but the story is slanted to be sure - not sure if you saw my edit post read but inferring Rosenstein was a Trump functionary just because he was appointed by Trump is borderline insane. The sourcing is obscured. It reads like the prosecutors gave Propublica their case.
