Can I get an Amen?!?
Here's the problem: Trump's attacks on the media -- as flawed and dishonest as they are -- are working. More than 4 in 10 people in a Gallup poll earlier this year could not name a single objective news source. Almost eight in 10 (77%) in a Monmouth University poll released last month said TV and print media report "fake news." That's a 14-point bump from the number of people who said the same last year.
The media is not blameless in all of this. As I noted above, we do make mistakes. We have made major strides in transparency but need to do even more to show our work to people. The more open we are about how we do our jobs, the better chance we have of convincing people that our most basic commitment is to getting stories right, not pushing some sort of imagined ideological agenda.
And you are? Damn Luther, your ego is as big as Donald Trump's.
Of course I'm not informed enough to know. That's why the opinions of traditional allies and others whom I've learned to trust matter.
Knowing what you don't know is often more important than knowing what you do know. That's Trump's downfall.
You're right. Here's Fox News perfectly demonstrating it.
Fox News blacks out bombshell Michael Cohen revelations during 3 hours of primetime coverage ThinkProgress
That's not just a slant hard right, it's a journalistic "news" devoid of ethics, standards, impartiality, and objectivity. It would be like CNN and MSNBC not covering the Eric Schneiderman story, which they covered extensively. So no, they don't slant as hard as the TrumPravda Propaganda Channel.I've never argued Fox doesn't slant hard right. I've admitted they do so I think you're barking up the wrong tree. I'm just hoping someday you guys will be willing to admit CNN and MSNBC slant just as hard to the left. Don't worry, I won't hold my breath waiting.

lol:So you think sanctioned Russians and corporations with important decisions coming before the Trump administration clandestinely showering Trump's personal lawyer with millions to shell companies is BS? Keep your head in the sand, Cletus.

He is getting points on who's scorecard? Certainly not mine. (we all know the answer) Again - unpresidential.
The collateral damage is massive and will take years to rebuild. I choose to assume Trump doesn't comprehend the collateral damage being done; because if he does, his ultimate motives are as bad as some suspect.
Right.
The Clinton emails - bombshell..were nothing
Comey testimoney - BOMBSHELL!! ..were nothing.
Everything is a bombshell because that gets you clicks or viewers..its all about making money, not reporting legite news.

Any time any thing is all about making money, things will be screwed up. Luckily there are people, companies, politicians, news organizations,etc... that maintain some degree of integrity (albeit differing levels). That is why critiquing the degree is imperative and why saying every politician lies, or every news source is biased is a load of BS.
