Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Is CNN ever going to get Cillizza to stop crying?

http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/18/politics/spicer-emmys-speech/index.html

When Sean Spicer rolled a faux presidential podium onto the Emmys stage Sunday night in Los Angeles, a collective gasp went up among the assembled celebrities. Was it really him?? What would he say???

Spicer played his part perfectly -- insisting that "this will be the largest audience to witness the Emmys, period -- both in person and around the world." The crowd laughed. He went backstage and palled around with the beautiful people.

Here's the thing: Not only was the Spicer bit not funny, it shouldn't have happened at all.

Trump started his speech at the U.N. today in stupid, Trumpian fashion: He apparently owns some sort of development across the street from the U.N., and of course he had to make a bragging reference to it and how the U.N. building has enhanced his property before he started what was a rather inconsequential speech. The man is so insecure and tone deaf--and wow, did the international body give him a big welcome after his introduction by Nicki Haley: as one reporter put it, calling the applause "light" would be quite generous. Yea, yea: conservatives don't like the U.N.--it's just another reason why they're tools.

While reading from notes, Trump said this at the U.N today while speaking to African leaders:

"Nambia's health system is increasingly self-sufficient."

There is no such country as "Nambia". He either meant "Namibia" or "Zambia" and either way he is a moron for not catching this error. Keep in mind this is the same guy who used to chide Obama all the time for mispronouncing things while reading from a teleprompter.

There are some on the left who would rather have Kim Jong Il as President.
