Anthony Scaramucci Fired

The White House said Monday afternoon that all senior aides – including Donald Trump's family members – will report to new chief of staff John Kelly.

The move marks a change in the West Wing, where first daughter Ivanka Trump, her husband Jared Kushner, chief strategist Steve Bannon and other top officials have all enjoyed Oval Office walk-in privileges and direct access to the president.

Things may change with Bannon and other top officials but no way Ivanka reports t anyone other than her DJT. Has she ever had to report to anyone not named Trump?

Liking and respecting someone is one thing, telling the Presidents daughter she no longer reports to the President is another

Agree, however, I'm pretty sure that Ivanka still has Daddy's ear and can/will speak to him over the dinner table from time to time.

Good move by Kelly. The Mooch is a certifiable creep.

Maybe Kelly can bring some order to the Trump circus act.

Option C.

The Mooch smarted off to the brand new Chief of Staff John Kelly. Kelly puts him in his place and tells Trump "him or me." Trump realizes if he looses Kelly, he loses someone well respected and has been with him since the beginning.

See ya, Mooch. We'll ship your stuff.

Option D:

The business of our country is presently being carried out on the basis of a significant minority cult of personality.

Ok, so one narrative is that Trump hired the Mooch to come in and knock some heads around. He did it, and Trump fired him anyway. Ten days later.

The other narrative is same as above, but Trump had no idea that the Mooch would make it about himself in the process, so Trump fired him because it took the spotlight off of Trump.

You've been watching this guy showboat for a year and a half. You tell me which you think is more likely.

"My sources in Washington" say it's because Kelly was brought in to be Chief of Staff to effectively run The Executive Office of the President (created by FDR).

Priebus wasn't effective. In part because Steve Scalise, the Republican majority whip responsible organizing support and getting his voters into the chamber. Critical on every major piece of legislation. Never the less, Priebus wasn't getting it done and there are leaks.

So Kelly. Kelly IS going to be Chief of Staff, meaning the White House Staff answers to him. So all the above posts about Ivanka etc.

That includes Scarramucci, right? Not according to the Mooch. He answered to Trump. He was escorted out the door.

You know, you're just too negative. You really need more silver linings in your life.

Or you can just be realistic for a change. You can either accept the theory Trump was irate over Mooch getting the press time (which is so Simple Jack, even Mt LeConte would believe it)

or

You can believe the theory Kelly is a man of honor and dignity and likely drew the line with the antics of last week.

Now, if you believe a man with the history of General John Kelly has been drawn into the "cult of personality", I can't help you as you are just beyond all hope.

The Mooch has already been cut loose.

Anthony Scaramucci, the hot-headed honcho who became the White House communications director less than two weeks ago, lost the job Monday, according to ABC News.

His exit brings a sudden end to a short tenure filled with foul-mouthed drama that wrecked havoc on the White House staff — and on Scaramaucci’s personal life.

In the few days he worked in the White House, Scaramucci managed to wage war on several top Trump staffers, including one who got pushed out last week, and he promised he would “fire everybody” on his press team to stop leaks.

Does Benjamin Franklin ^^^^^ just start threads and leave?

Can anyone name from memory Obama's communication directors? What about George Bush? Bill Clinton? Who cares, really?
